Sokin is growing our footprint in North America and are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to lead our enterprise client acquisition efforts in Canada focusing on FX, based out of our Toronto office. This is a full 360° role where you’ll drive new revenue, build strategic relationships with large-scale Canadian and multinational organizations, and help us continue our global success.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Drive Strategic Growth - Build and execute a high-impact business development strategy targeting Canadian enterprises and key accounts. Identify and close new opportunities that align with Sokin’s offerings and growth goals.
- Market Intelligence - Conduct competitive benchmarking, industry analysis, and customer feedback collection to identify emerging trends in the Canadian and North American remittance and fintech sectors.
- Client Acquisition & Retention - Lead efforts to onboard and nurture clients in Canada, ensuring strong relationships, excellent service delivery, and long-term client retention.
- Performance Reporting - Track KPIs, manage sales forecasts, and provide detailed reporting to senior leadership, aligning Canadian performance with global revenue goals.
- 8+ years of progressive business development experience in financial services, fintech, or payments/remittance sectors.
- Strong understanding of Canadian market dynamics, regulatory landscape, and cross-border payment flows.
- Proven experience generating pipeline and closing high-value B2B deals.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, comfortable engaging with C-level stakeholders across sectors.
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Background in a fintech, scale-up, or startup environment is an asset.
- Strong collaboration and independent working skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
