Job Description:

On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity Healthcare Solutions is looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Developer to join a dynamic team working on a transformative digital forms project. The initiative focuses on creating a digital forms publication pipeline and a provincial library of electronic forms integrated with digital assets, enhancing accessibility and efficiency in service delivery.



Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing web-based applications using a cloud-based architectural framework.

• Collaborating with business analysts and solutions architects to analyze and implement functional and non-functional requirements.

• Translating requirements into tested applications, including development, unit testing, and deployment in a DevOps environment.

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting functional and performance issues, implementing corrective fixes.

• Adhering to development processes such as test-driven development, peer code review, and CI/CD practices.

• Resolving technical issues, supporting data conversion, and migrations.

• Evaluating architecture and solution designs, making recommendations to product management.

• Generating clean, reusable, performant code and maintaining comprehensive documentation.

• Supporting production issue investigations and collaborating with operations teams across all environments.


Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience developing front-end web solutions using Angular, TypeScript, and Bootstrap.

• 10+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining Single Page Applications (SPAs) with RESTful API integration.

• 8+ years of experience developing back-end web APIs and business logic with Java Spring Boot framework.

• Strong knowledge of front-end frameworks/libraries: Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, Jasmine/Jest, HTML5, JSON, npm, Webpack, Babel, Bootstrap, LESS, CSS, SASS.

• Solid knowledge of modern authorization standards (OAuth 2.0, JSON Web Token).

• Extensive experience in Agile development using Azure DevOps, including Azure Repos, pull requests, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Effective team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.


Desired Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Experience with authenticated, customer-focused applications.

• Expertise in Microsoft Azure services (Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Service Bus, Functions) and AWS.

• Knowledge of backend frameworks/technologies: Java Spring Boot, OAuth 2.0, JWT, Kubernetes, Docker, Relational/NoSQL databases.

• Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.0) and security best practices.

• Experience with integration projects using HL7 FHIR standards.

• Passion for learning new technologies, self-motivated, creative, and solution-oriented.
