Entrepreneur Experience Overview:

As part of the Entrepreneur Experience (EX) team at Endeavor Canada, you’ll help identify, select, and support high-potential founders scaling some of the country’s most exciting companies. The EX team builds a pipeline of top candidates through research and outreach, analyzes business performance, coordinates mentor meetings and selection panels, and delivers tailored support to Endeavor Entrepreneurs (EEs) through curated connections and strategic advice. You’ll work directly with founders to build trust, understand their needs, and connect them with the global Endeavor network. Success in this role requires a passion for engaging with entrepreneurs, strong relationship-building skills, and the confidence to open doors at the executive level. Endeavor Canada is a small, driven team of self-starters—if this environment excites you, we encourage you to apply, even if you don’t meet every listed qualification.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Entrepreneur Selection
  • Identify and evaluate Canada’s most promising post-startup stage companies by researching the ecosystem, attending events, and leveraging referrals and networks.
  • Lead personalized outreach to high-potential founders, conduct intro meetings, and assess business performance, leadership, and scale potential.
  • Guide selected candidates through Endeavor’s global selection process, including preparing for local and international selection panels.
  • Help coordinate local selection events and ensure a best-in-class candidate experience.
  • Entrepreneur Support
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to a portfolio of Endeavor Entrepreneurs, helping them access capital, mentorship, global markets, and leadership support.
  • Build and manage annual servicing plans tailored to each company’s growth priorities.
  • Facilitate valuable connections through Endeavor’s global network and identify relevant programs, events, and mentorship opportunities.
  • Stay informed on company news, industry developments, and emerging trends to proactively spot opportunities for support.
  • Operations, Systems & Enablement
  • Drive improvements in operational efficiency by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows using AI, automation, and CRM tools.
  • Support the implementation of systems that enhance communication, data accuracy, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Contribute to CRM management (Salesforce), reporting, and internal knowledge-sharing to ensure team alignment and data integrity.
  • Ecosystem Engagement & Events
  • Represent Endeavor at conferences, networking events, and community engagements across Canada.
  • Design and support local programming such as entrepreneur dinners, roundtables, panels, and investor meetups that build value for the community.
  • Strengthen the mentor network and support ongoing mentor-entrepreneur engagement.

Skills & Abilities:

  • 7-12 years of combined educational and professional experience (ideally including a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, and relevant work in business, consulting, entrepreneurship, startup ecosystems, accelerators, economic development, venture capital, or finance)
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with founders, CEOs, and senior leaders.
  • Strong analytical skills, business acumen, and ability to assess company performance and growth potential.
  • High degree of independence, initiative, and comfort operating in ambiguous environments.
  • Familiarity with Canada’s startup and scaleup ecosystem, including regional tech hubs and investor networks.
  • Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and interpersonal.
  • Tech-savvy with an interest in using AI, CRM platforms (like Salesforce), and productivity tools to work smarter.
  • Willingness to travel within Canada and occasionally internationally; flexibility to attend events that occur outside standard work hours.
  • A team player with a collaborative mindset and commitment to Endeavor’s mission of supporting high-impact entrepreneurship.

Language Requirements:

While we welcome applicants from across Canada, including Quebec, please note that this role requires a high level of proficiency in English, both spoken and written. This is due to the fact that English is the working language across our national and global Endeavor teams, and is essential for day-to-day collaboration, documentation, and communication. Proficiency in French is considered an asset, but is not required.

Who You Are:

  • Entrepreneur First: You are someone who passionately believes in the power of high-growth entrepreneurs to change the world for the better. You care about our mission.
  • Go Big: You are someone whose curiosity drives them to dream (and execute!) big. You are a self-starter, who will roll up your sleeves to take our office to the next level.
  • Network of Trust: You are someone who can naturally build trust with anybody, from CTOs of cutting-edge startups to CEOs of established ventures.
  • Pay It Forward: You will be someone with a service-oriented attitude, who asks “What can I do?” before asking “What can I get?”
  • One Endeavor: You will be someone who thrives on working with colleagues in over 45 different countries around the world. You are collaborative and a bridge builder.
  • Always Agile: You will be someone who understands that it's the planning, not the plans, that matter and therefore isn't deterred by pivots or evolutions. You’re gritty, bright, and willing to go above and beyond to exceed expectations.

Salary is $75-90K CAD with up to 15% bonus potential. Benefits include remote and flexible working days, RRSP matching, health and dental benefits, global travel experiences, and professional development opportunities.
