Job Title: Jr. Showhome Design Consultant

Job Summary

Are you a recent interior design grad or someone who lives for interior aesthetics and Pinterest boards? As our Jr. Showhome Design Consultant, you’ll support the development and execution of showhome design packages, from interior selections to furniture installs. You’ll be working closely with our experienced Showhome Design Coordinator to turn floorplans into inspiring, livable spaces that reflect our brand.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating interior and exterior design packages for upcoming showhomes.
  • Help coordinate finishes, materials, and color palettes that align with current trends and target markets.
  • Support furniture sourcing, placement, and installation for new showhome setups.
  • Organize and track samples, quotes, and budgets for each project.
  • Maintain clear and accurate file administration for all design-related documents, selections, and schedules.
  • Visit showhome sites to ensure design plans are being properly executed.
  • Keep up with design trends and homebuilder competitor offerings in Calgary.
  • Pitch in with photoshoots, marketing support, and community events.


Qualifications

  • A diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
  • 0–1 year of industry experience. Internship or co-op experience is an asset.
  • A portfolio of past design work is considered an asset.
  • Staging experience or a strong interest in visual merchandising is an asset.
  • Comfortable working on-site, in our warehouse, and in the office.
  • Organized, efficient, and confident in juggling projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Adobe Creative Cloud software knowledge is an asset.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a personal vehicle.
