As part of our dedicated team in Research & Development, you will initiate, direct and execute pre-clinical scientific research and/or development strategies in research and/or development. You will investigate the feasibility of applying a wide variety of scientific principles and concepts to potential inventions, products and problems. You will maintain a broad knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theories. You may be required to participate in the development of patent applications.


To succeed in this role, you should have an advanced degree in biochemistry, enzymology, or immunoassay technology, or a related field, with relevant scientific experience conducting controlled experiments in a regulated manufacturing facility. You will have the ability to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. You will possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal), strong analytical skills and the ability to draw conclusions and determine strategies based on data, while being proficient with Microsoft Office. The ideal candidate would have experience in the development of In Vitro Diagnostic assays and be able to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment. Familiarity with ISO regulations would be considered a preferred asset.


The anticipated base salary for this position is $70,000 - $85,000. This role may also qualify for annual incentives and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
