Your role
As a Dietary Aide in Continuing Care, you’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive team environment. You’ll report to the Coordinator Food Services and perform a wide variety of duties including serving meals in the respect of resident’s specific needs, washing dishes, cleaning equipment and surfaces, participating in food preparation as well as maintaining a high standard of sanitation and safety in the kitchen and the food service areas.

Vulnerable Sector RCMP security clearance, TB screening, WHMIS 2015, and Food Safe level 1 (within last 2 years)

This job requires you to perform, and/or be exposed to, the following:
Exposure to animals, exposure to latex products, bending, reaching and heavy lifting (up to 35 lbs.), long periods of time standing, shift work and weekends.

- Experience performing duties related to food preparation, food service, cleaning, sanitizing and dishwashing in a long-term care facility.
- Experience incorporating Food Safe level 1 into your daily duties
