About The Work Environment
Peoples Group offers a flexible and hybrid work environment. In this role you will work a combination of in-office and remotely from home. Typically, you'll be working regular business hours, Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 4:30pm with flexibility around start/end times.
We are hiring for this position out of our Toronto office. Successful candidates who apply outside of these areas will be expected to relocate and reside in a location that is within a commutable distance.
About You
You are an experienced Scrum Master who loves change management, you will provide end-to-end leadership of projects to ensure milestones and expected project outcomes are met within schedule and cost constraints. You will work on a range of projects from small initiatives and change management exercises to large, corporate projects involving multiple business lanes.

About You / Qualifications
- 3+ years of focused Scrum Master experience leading complex technology projects is mandatory, other Agile or Scrum certifications are a bonus (CSPO, KMP, SAFE, CSM)
- Demonstrated experience introducing and evolving Agile and Scrum practices at organizations that apply blended/hybrid approaches with traditional delivery models
- Expert level experience using JIRA and Confluence
- Expert level ability to Facilitate, Influence, Lead without authority, Coach, Mentor, Demonstrate Agile Practices, Resolve Conflicts, Problem Solve
- Lead your team(s) on how to use Agile and Scrum practices to consistently deliver value, and to self-organize.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (e.g. sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and sprint retrospectives).
- Remove impediments to allow your team to succeed and facilitate discussion, decision making and conflict resolution.
- Hyper-focused on optimizing team productivity through continuous coaching of the team in Agile and Scrum framework and evolving each team member’s way of working.
- Work with the Product Owner to ensure that the that goals and product vision are understood by everyone in the team.
- Work with the Product Owner to achieve effective Product Backlog management, facilitate Story Mapping, assist/create Stories and Acceptance Criteria maximize value delivery.
- Be a confident change agent who takes pride in watching their team evolve their Agile practices.
- Be a creative problem solver and be willing to let the team take center-stage in their continuous learning and improvement journey.
- Identify and action on areas of opportunities and optimization in partnership with peers and team members.
- Navigate the team through the uncertainty, risk, and complexity and communicate the risks to required stakeholders.
- You appreciate deadlines even within an Agile framework and can help prioritize and negotiate to meet these timelines.
