MARKETING COORDINATOR POSITION

Guelph, Ontario

About RWDI Ventures

RWDI Ventures isn’t your typical corporate innovations hub. Our mission is to create new companies and technologies that transform how people, companies, and the planet interact. From helping architects design more climate-responsive buildings to enabling businesses to adapt to new climate realities, we’ve already launched four successful startups - and we’re just getting started.

We are a values-based organization, which means everything we do relates back to our three core values: innovation, integrity, and integration. So, when we look for new people to join our team, alignment with these values is a vital piece of our people puzzle. Here’s what this looks like:

  • You push the boundaries of what’s possible.
  • People know they can rely on you to follow through on your commitments.
  • You believe that when a group of people come together, they can achieve more than any one person could alone.

About The Role

RWDI Ventures is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Guelph in a full-time, in-person role. You’ll contribute to a variety of projects, with an initial focus on our most recently launched company, ClimateFirst, which already has product, customers, and revenue.

You will play a pivotal role, providing essential administrative support to keep our team coordinated and efficient, while helping to create content that drives our growth strategy and connects with our customers. Reporting to the Ventures Marketing leader, you will also work closely with the directors of both Ventures and ClimateFirst, as well as the sales team.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, startup-like environment, is comfortable shifting gears quickly, and is passionate about sustainability.

Responsibilities Include (but Are Not Limited To)

  • Multi-Channel Marketing: Play a key role in launching integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, and event channels to amplify brand presence, customer engagement, and market differentiation.
  • Content Strategy & Creation: Support content creation efforts, including blogs, case studies, whitepapers, and multimedia, ensuring alignment with brand voice and mission while tailoring messaging to different target audiences.
  • Event Strategy & Execution: Identify event opportunities and support internal attendees.
  • Marketing Analytics: Use dashboards and existing tools to track and analyze key performance metrics (e.g., website traffic, conversion rates, and campaign performance) to help drive decision making.

Candidates Should Possess The Following Skills

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Two to four (2-4) years of experience in a marketing or sales administrative role, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation tools, CRM software, and analytics tools.
  • Familiarity with different marketing channels, including email marketing, marketing automation, paid search, paid social, SEO, and content marketing.
  • Positive team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly, juggle multiple tasks, and stay focused when priorities shift.
    • Experience working in a startup environment is an asset, as is having a passion for climate action and sustainability.
What We Offer/Why Join Us

  • Salary range: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 (based on experience)
