What You'll Do
Strategic Talent Leadership:
- Define, develop, and implement a proactive, data-driven talent acquisition strategy aligned with Sephora’s business objectives, anticipating future needs and market trends.
- Conduct ongoing market research and competitive analysis to identify talent trends, emerging technologies, and innovative recruitment strategies.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to senior leaders, providing expert guidance on talent acquisition strategies, market insights, and best practices.
- Lead and develop a high-performing talent acquisition team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and results-oriented execution.
- Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process for all roles within the Sephora FSC, ensuring a seamless and efficient candidate experience. Own full-cycle recruitment for senior roles in the organization.
- Cultivate strong partnerships with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and other key stakeholders to understand talent needs and deliver exceptional service.
- Develop and implement proactive sourcing strategies to identify and engage top talent in the market, building a robust pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Implement rigorous assessment and selection processes to ensure the identification of high-potential candidates who align with the company's values and culture.
- Collaborate with the Employer Brand team to develop and execute a compelling employer branding strategy that showcases the unique culture and value proposition of Sephora FSC.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives throughout the talent acquisition process, ensuring a fair and inclusive candidate experience and partner closely with the D&I leader to provide relevant data to senior leadership.
- Partner with the internal D&I leader to build and maintain relationships with diversity-focused organizations and community partners to expand the reach of recruitment efforts.
- Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of key recruitment metrics to provide actionable insights into the effectiveness of talent acquisition strategies.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline recruitment processes, enhance the candidate experience, and improve efficiency – partnering with global and/or NA partners.
- Evaluate and support the implementation of recruitment technologies to automate tasks, improve collaboration, and enhance the overall effectiveness of the talent acquisition function.
- Manage relationships with external recruitment vendors, ensuring alignment with company standards and cost-effectiveness.
- Design and deliver comprehensive recruitment training and resources to equip hiring managers with the skills and knowledge to attract and hire top talent – enable a talent scout culture!
- Support the Program Manager with co-op hiring as needed.
- Seasoned HR/Talent Acquisition Leader with 8+ years of progressive experience in leading talent acquisition practices within a large, complex, and high-growth organization.
- Strong people leadership experience with a track record of building and scaling high-performing talent acquisition teams
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute data-driven talent acquisition strategies that align with business objectives.
- Deep understanding of the competitive talent landscape, including industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative recruitment strategies.
- Strong project management skills and experience in implementing recruitment technologies from conception to implementation.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), assessments, and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
- Experience with Success Factors, Eightfold is an asset.
- French language proficiency is an asset.
