Our team in Canada is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Civil EIT to join our Minerals & Metals Business line in the Vancouver office.

Salary range: $70,000 - $95,000

Our team in Canada is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Civil EIT to join our Minerals & Metals Business line in the Vancouver office.
About The Role
- Provide engineering design solutions for industrial and mining projects under supervision of Civil Lead Engineers.
- Prepare cost effective civil and site utility designs from conceptual design through to detail design, tender and construction in accordance with local codes and standards for industrial & mining projects.
- Perform site visits, inspections, preparation of reports, functional and detailed design relating to water and wastewater distribution and collection system, storm water management facilities, grading and bulk earthworks, parking lots and roads as related to mine sites under supervision of civil lead engineers.
- Construction administration including report writing, preparation of specifications and estimates.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- 2-5 years’ experience, primarily in the design of civil infrastructure for industrial & mining projects (including bulk earthworks, roads, storm sewers, storm water management and drainage, and site services and utilities).
- Registered as a EIT in the Province of BC
- Experience in consulting engineering working on industrial, mining projects is preferred
- Proven experience in municipal design, leading and dealing directly with design teams, clients and approval agencies.
- Construction and contract administration experience is definitely an asset.
- Proficient using Civil 3D and AutoCAD
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
- Highly motivated with strong commitment to teamwork
