Role Summary

The Director of the Project Management Office (PMO) will drive scalable, high-impact program delivery across Centrilogic’s cloud, infrastructure, and digital transformation services. This role requires a proven leader who can operate in a dynamic, client-facing, service provider environment and establish strong PMO governance, while also motivating, mentoring, and managing a team of experienced project managers.


The successful candidate will lead the PMO function to deliver complex, multi-platform transformation programs, ensuring projects are executed with commercial discipline, operational excellence, and client satisfaction. The role includes oversight of internal and external project portfolios, governance frameworks, PMO as a Service (PMOaaS), and programmatic support to business transformation initiatives.


Location and Reporting

Location: North America/Remote-Hybrid. EST hours. Toronto preferred.

Reporting to : President

Direct Reports: ~12 (Project Managers, Contract PMs, PMO Admin/Order Management Staff)


Mandatory Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of IT project management experience with a mix of infrastructure, cloud, and application delivery in a client-facing services context (not internal IT only)
  • Experience delivering projects to Manage Service clients including operational hand over.
  • 3+ years of project portfolio management in a multi-client, multi-platform environment
  • 3+ years leading a PMO team, including recruiting, developing, and mentoring experienced PMs
  • Demonstrated success delivering large-scale transformation programs
  • Proven experience driving financial accountability including margin protection, SOW accuracy, change control, and revenue leakage prevention
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
  • PMP certification or equivalent


Important & Desirable Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain business processes
  • Agile/Scrum project experience and certification
  • ITIL certification or working knowledge
  • Lean methodology familiarity
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree (desirable)
  • MS PWA and Power BI familiarity (desirable)


Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive governance discipline across all delivery engagements, including cost tracking, margin analysis, and performance metrics
  • Establish and enforce a consistent change control process across all client projects
  • Ensure delivery teams maintain commercial awareness, managing scope, effort estimation, and financial outcomes
  • Coach and lead seasoned project managers, fostering a high-performance, accountable culture
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex delivery issues
  • Enhance PMO delivery frameworks for each practice area
  • Launch and manage PMOaaS and staff augmentation services
  • Support strategic internal initiatives
  • Build reporting dashboards and run project governance processes
  • Manage PMO team planning, budgeting, hiring, coaching, and utilization
