Fullstack Developer

On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is looking for a Fullstack Developer to develop a new full-stack production system, including interfaces for both clients (external) and employees (internal).

Responsibilities:

The Contractor will provide full-stack development services as directed within the following scope of work:

• Work with Leader, IT Development and stakeholders, understand requirements, build and show prototypes, expanding to full system functionality, release candidate and fixes

• Knowledge transfer/training as required to support employee development resources

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

• Computer Science Degree

• >5 years experience as full stack developer

Knowledge and Skills

• Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.

• Commitment to agile software development methodologies including pair-programming, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.

• Good understanding of User Experience and User Interface design principles.

• Good problem-solving skills to overcome issues during development.

• Expertise in creating applications using technologies such as C#, ASP.NET Web API (REST), XML, advanced SQL scripting.

• Experience using Python (Django / Flask), PHP, JavaScript frameworks (Angular / React / Vue.js), CSS, HTML, etc.

• Experience with data modeling, scripting, data mapping.

• Familiarity with Object Relational Model (ORM) and Telerik development tools.

• Familiarity with design patterns like dependency injection, factory, etc.

• Experience writing Oracle SQL, SQL scripting and PL/SQL tool.

• Integration experience with 3rd party applications from Tyler Technologies software widely used in the public sector is an asset
