About The Role

Amrize Construction is seeking a seasonal, full-time Concrete Form Setter to join our team in Saskatoon, SK. This role is responsible for setting up and securing forms for concrete placement on road construction projects. The successful candidate will ensure proper alignment and stability of forms to achieve accurate concrete placement.

What You’ll Accomplish

  • Assemble and secure formwork for concrete pours.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
  • Ensure forms are properly aligned and braced.
  • Strip and clean forms after concrete placement.
  • Work with the concrete finishing team to ensure a smooth project workflow.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

What We’re Looking For

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in concrete form setting

Required Training/Certifications: Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

Required Technical Skills: Ability to read construction drawings, knowledge of formwork techniques

Travel Requirements: Knowledge of the City of Saskatoon and surrounding area

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment medical assessment.
  • Proven ability to follow safe work procedures and complete field risk assessments.
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators. Employees required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven where the respirator seal meets the face to pass qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
