The Project Planner is responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within scope. This role involves collaborating with project teams to define tasks, allocate resources, and monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle. The Project Planner plays a critical role in identifying risks and ensuring effective communication among stakeholders.

The Project Planner is responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within scope. This role involves collaborating with project teams to define tasks, allocate resources, and monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle. The Project Planner plays a critical role in identifying risks and ensuring effective communication among stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
- Collaborate with project managers, team members, and stakeholders to define project deliverables and scope.
- Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect changes in requirements or timelines.
- Identify potential risks and provide recommendations for mitigation strategies.
- Organize regular status meetings with stakeholders to review project progress and address any issues.
- Ensure alignment between project milestones and organizational objectives.
- Utilize project management tools and software for tracking schedules and reporting.
- Skills:
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software like MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in project planning or a similar role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing project schedules and meeting deadlines.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Technical/Specialized Knowledge:
- Understanding of project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation techniques.
- Certifications:
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is highly desirable.
- Language:
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Additional language proficiency is a plus.
- Advanced knowledge of risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams within a matrix organization.
- Familiarity with tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or other data visualization software.
- Master’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills to manage stakeholders effectively.
