As part of the Simplii Process Engineering team you will be an advocate for Simplii Financial clients and prospects, so they can have simple, clear and valuable client experiences through our remote business model. You will support end-to-end project implementation, working with both the business and technology following the Software Development Lifecycle.

What You’ll Be Doing

How You’ll Succeed
- Business acumen and relationship building – Execute on Simplii business strategy, by actively contributing to leading Simplii on matters of client experience and business processes, including definition and execution of process; conducting and delivering analysis that presents comprehensive views on business process challenges. Prepare and deliver future state process design, support the preparation of business requirements, directly prepare solution requirements for identified opportunities. Employ various process improvement methods/practices to improve product and service delivery. Builds relationship with internal partners to understand their strategies, and work towards their fruition through process enhancements.
- Understanding and documenting requirements – Conduct analysis of Simplii processes and functional or reporting requirements. You’ll contribute to the delivery of BA artifacts/work package as they pertain to Business Requirements and Solutions Requirements. Establish activities and time lines for your assigned work. Partner with subject matter experts to establish and develop functional and non-functional requirements documents. You will take ownership of all process-related issues, and follow them through to resolution, ensuring all are documented and signed off as appropriate.
- Solution design - Work with internal and external partners to assist in the formulation of business processes providing attributes and design specifications. Provide process team support though the lifecycle of the project including completion of PE artifacts, support of technical build, input and validation of test results and successful implementation, including review of other team artifacts. Work closely with business partners to define complex solution design requirements and facilitate discussions to ensure you meet project needs. Build strong relationships, lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements.
- Problem solving – Develop imaginative solutions and new ways of thinking about situations, problems and opportunities. You have experience planning, supporting and providing changes in Process Engineering and other improvement methodologies to internal and external stakeholders. You can conduct research and root cause analysis, analyze tradeoffs between usability, performance and key business objectives. You can develop models and ‘what if’ scenarios to demonstrate the range of options available to management, by presenting optimal solutions.
- Coordination & collaboration – Participate and co-ordinate cross-functional tasks or work to identify and document functional or reporting requirements, work flow, information sources and system specifications. Partner with project manager, technical resources, vendors, and management to ensure accurate execution of projects.
- You can demonstrate t to 2years of work experience with creating Business Requirements Documents, Solution Requirements Documents including but not limited to UID, SSIs, data elements, process flow/process mapping diagrams and you’ve spent at least 1 year in a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst role. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and are able to translate business requirements into detailed technical documentation. It’s an asset if you have a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Business, and/or related field.
