We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Group Benefit Claims Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and processing group benefit claims, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to our members. Reporting to the Supervisor, TPA Claims, the Claims Analyst is responsible for the adjudication of medical claims in accordance with claim processing guidelines.

What You Will Do

  • Review, process, and adjudicate group benefit claims in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers, clients, and internal teams to gather necessary information and documentation for claims processing.
  • Communicate with members to provide updates on claim status, resolve inquiries, and offer guidance on the claims process.
  • Ensure all claims are processed in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all claims and interactions in the claims management system.
  • Generate and analyze reports on claims activity, trends, and outcomes to identify areas for improvement.

What You Will Bring

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in claims management or equivalent training, Group Benefits experience, is an asset
  • Post-secondary diploma in a related field or equivalent training
  • Bilingual, written and oral (English and French), is considered an asset
  • Attention to detail, organizational, time management and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrate good judgement, reliability, and professionalism in fast paced environment
  • Strong initiative, planning, and problem-solving skills, including an ability to focus on both details and results
  • Excellent customer service skills and professionalism
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
