The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring financial accuracy and operational efficiency while working in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment. This is a high-impact role with long-term growth potential for someone eager to take ownership and make a meaningful contribution.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle accounting for a growing portfolio of U.S.-based entities
  • Establish and maintain accounting processes and internal controls across multiple businesses
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and reconciliations in accordance with US GAAP
  • Coordinate with external accounting firms for audits and financial reporting
  • Support M&A activities, including onboarding newly acquired companies
  • Oversee bookkeeping, month-end close, and general ledger activities
  • Assist in cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
  • Help implement and optimize accounting systems, tools, and workflows
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support operational and strategic initiatives
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed

Qualifications

  • CPA designation is required
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong working knowledge of US GAAP
  • Experience with full-cycle accounting and multi-entity environments
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is essential; experience with other ERP systems is a plus
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
  • High level of ownership, resourcefulness, and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
