As a key contributor of the Grid Modernization department, you will support a diverse range of initiatives, including distribution infrastructure projects, electrification, innovation, and grid modernization efforts.
- Assist in developing detailed project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation. Ensure all project activities are aligned with the overall project goals.
- Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and internal team members. Maintain regular updates and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Coordinate project schedules, track progress, and ensure resources are allocated efficiently. Assist in resolving any scheduling conflicts or resource constraints.
- Organize and coordinate meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and documenting action items and decisions.
- Support the implementation of quality control processes to ensure project deliverables meet required standards and regulatory compliance.
- Track project expenses and assist in managing the project budget by providing financial updates and reports.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including project dashboards, meeting minutes, status reports, and project records. Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders.
- Provide administrative support to the project team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and coordinating logistics.
- Support internal workflows including purchase requisitions, invoice processing, and records updates.
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project coordination or a similar role.
- Knowledge of project management principles, tools, and techniques.
- Familiarity with financial tracking is an asset.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid Class G Driver’s License with a clean driving record. Must be able to occasionally travel and work flexible hours to meet deadlines.
