On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an Expert Designer, Design Systems - Mobile Native UI Platforms for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.
Expert Designer, Design Systems - Mobile Native UI Platforms - Job Description:
The Expert Designer will be working on a design system product used by internal designers and developers. The role involves designing reusable UI components, supporting design and development peers in team objectives, and advocating and training users of the design system.
Expert Designer, Design Systems - Mobile Native UI Platforms - Responsibilities:
- Designing reusable UI components
- Supporting design and development peers in team objectives
- Advocating and training users of the design system
- Increasing usage of the system
- Enhancing the quality of the system
- Improving user satisfaction
- 7+ years of design system experience
- Expertise in UI Component Design
- Knowledge in design tokens and variables
- Awareness of mobile native UI platforms
- Strong foundations in visual language
- Proficiency in Figma, with some use of Mural and Keynote
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with accessible design
- Teamwork skills
- Problem-solving abilities
- Experience in training and advocacy
- Knowledge of user satisfaction metrics
This is a 12-month contract position.
