EMPLACEMENT : Montréal, Canada RÉSUMÉ DU POSTE Positionnement du rôle et objectifs Ce rôle est responsable de la direction du processus de prévision de la demande pour plusieurs catégories au Canada, en fournissant des projections précises et fondées sur les données afin d’éclairer la planification marketing, commerciale, de la chaîne d’approvisionnement et financière. Il favorise l’amélioration continue de la précision des prévisions et la réduction des biais grâce à l’analytique avancée, à la collaboration interfonctionnelle et à l’intégration de l’intelligence du marché. Le rôle soutient également le processus S&OP en articulant clairement les cibles et en identifiant les sensibilités clés Vos principales responsabilités incluront:
- Diriger le cycle mensuel de planification de la demande, en assurant des prévisions précises et ponctuelles, alignées sur les objectifs commerciaux.
- Animer les réunions de consensus sur la demande dans le cadre du processus S&OP, en assurant la clarté des hypothèses, des risques et des opportunités.
- Être un partenaire d’affaires efficace auprès de plusieurs parties prenantes interfonctionnelles de niveau senior (notamment en Marketing, Finance et Chaîne d’approvisionnement).
- Analyser les ventes historiques, les tendances du marché, les activités de tarification et les lancements de nouveaux produits pour affiner les modèles de prévision.
- Suivre et rapporter la précision des prévisions (DFA, biais) et piloter des initiatives d’amélioration continue.
- Collaborer avec les équipes commerciales et marketing pour intégrer des insights qualitatifs aux prévisions statistiques.
- Assurer la gouvernance et le respect des normes, outils et meilleures pratiques en matière de prévision.
- Encadrer et développer les planificateurs juniors, en renforçant leurs capacités analytiques et leur sens des affaires.
- Collaborer avec les équipes TI et analytiques pour améliorer les outils de prévision, l’automatisation, la communication et la qualité des données.
- Solides compétences en analyse et en modélisation statistique; maîtrise d’Excel et des outils de prévision (SAP, APO).
- Une connaissance pratique de Kinaxis constitue un atout important.
- Capacité à influencer et à mobiliser les parties prenantes interfonctionnelles autour des hypothèses et décisions de prévision.
- Compétences en communication efficaces, incluant la négociation, l’influence et la gestion des parties prenantes de haut niveau.
- Esprit stratégique avec une mentalité d’amélioration continue et une aptitude à gérer la complexité.
- Leadership d’équipe : encadrement, mentorat et gestion de la performance.
- De 5 à 10 ans d’expérience en planification de la demande, prévision ou analytique de la chaîne d’approvisionnement dans le secteur des produits de grande consommation (FMCG) ou du commerce de détail.
- Expérience avérée dans la gestion de portefeuilles multicatégories et dans des environnements interfonctionnels.
- Exposition à l’analyse statistique, aux prévisions, aux analyses quantitatives et qualitatives, ainsi qu’à l’analyse de la concurrence.
- Connaissance des processus S&OP/IBP et de la gouvernance en matière de prévisions.
- Une expérience dans les réseaux de vente au détail et de distribution au Canada constitue un atout.
- Capacité à évoluer dans un environnement en transformation rapide, avec des délais serrés et des priorités changeantes.
- Baccalauréat en chaîne d’approvisionnement, affaires, statistiques, économie ou dans un domaine connexe.
- Une formation en prévision statistique ou en science des données constitue un atout.

ROLE SUMMARY
Role positioning and objectives This role is responsible for leading the demand forecasting process across multiple categories in Canada, delivering accurate, data-driven projections that inform marketing, commercial, supply chain, and financial planning. It drives continuous improvement in forecast accuracy and bias reduction through advanced analytics, cross-functional collaboration, and the integration of market intelligence. The role also supports the S&OP process by clearly articulating targets and identifying key sensitivities Your Key Responsibilities Will Include- Lead the monthly demand planning cycle, ensuring timely, accurate forecasts and alignment with business targets.
- Facilitate demand consensus meetings as part of the S&OP process, ensuring clarity on assumptions, risks, and opportunities.
- Be an effective business partner to multiple cross functional senior stakeholders (specifically within Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain).
- Analyze historical sales, market trends, pricing activities, and new product launches to refine forecast models.
- Monitor and report forecast accuracy (DFA, Bias) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with commercial and marketing teams to integrate qualitative insights into statistical forecasts.
- Ensure governance and adherence to forecasting standards, tools, and best practices.
- Coach and develop junior planners, fostering analytical capability and business acumen.
- Partner with IT and analytics teams to enhance forecasting tools, automation, communication and data quality.
- Strong analytical and statistical modelling skills; proficiency in Excel, and forecasting tools.(SAP, APO)
- Working knowledge of Kinaxis is a strong asset
- Ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders around forecast assumptions and decisions.
- Effective communication skills: including negotiation, influencing and senior stakeholders’ management.
- Strategic thinker with a continuous improvement mindset and ability to manage complexity.
- Team leadership: coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- 5-to-10-year experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics within FMCG or retail.
- Proven experience managing multicategory portfolios and working in cross-functional environments.
- Exposure to statistical analysis, forecasting, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and competitor analysis.
- Exposure to S&OP/IBP processes and forecasting governance.
- Experience with Canadian retail and distribution networks is an asset.
- Ability to operate in rapidly evolving environment with quick turn around and stretched timeline.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Statistics, Economics, or related field.
- Training in statistical forecasting or data science is a plus.
