Based in either Toronto or Montreal, The Business Solutions Associate (BSA) role will be responsible for driving additional revenue by leveraging the existing merchant portfolio. What you will do:
- Identify e-Commerce/CNP/OMNI sales opportunities within assigned portfolio
- Cross-sell / Up-sell new Solutions to existing and new Merchants
- Account Management
- Collaborate with Portfolio Managers to maintain healthy margin while adding value through consultations
- Proactive in-portfolio calling and independent lead generation to acquire new Merchants
- Maintain the prospective leads through excellent customer service relations; negotiate and win new incremental e-Com/CNP and B&M business
- Generate own leads and tailor presentation to specific industry segments
- Establish new Referral Partnerships and perform in-person meetings if required
- Establish new Merchant Opportunities and perform in-person meetings if required
- Work with the SME’s Portfolio Managers to: retain existing relationships and win new business
- Meet and/or exceed sales targets (annual, quarterly, monthly, weekly)
- Recommend, select and locate appropriate products, based on specific customer needs
- Process sales orders efficiently and accurately
- Provide exceptional service and support during and after the sale
- Work with Product and Value-Added Reseller teams to sell/implement various e-Commerce/CNP solutions
- Acquire knowledge of the industry competition and their pricing strategies, and implement accurate merchant agreements & pricing models
- Provide product knowledge regarding various e-Commerce/CNP solutions compatible with Global Payments where necessary
- Acquire all information needed to complete the sale (financial statements, banking information, statement of account from existing provider, etc.)
- Enter leads & opportunities and track/update prospects on Sale Force, and provide reporting as required by Management
- Liaise/follow up with Credit Department and other divisions of Global Payments (internal & external) to facilitate completion of merchant agreement.
- Set up on-site visits upon merchant request (also in cases of failed EID)
- Adhere to procedures and standards set forth by the SME Management
- English and French language skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in B2B Sales, Customer Relationship, Client Service, or related experience
- Exceptional proficiency of e-Commerce, CNP ecosystem and Cloud based technologies
- Ability to follow direction and excel with minimum supervision
- Positive attitude with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Creative solutions architect and problem solver
- Outstanding outbound phone sales skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with proven ability to speak with high level executives
- Knowledge of MS Suites and G-Suites
- Effective time management and organizational skills is a must
- Ability to understand and implement complex pricing strategies
- Strong relationship and consultative sales approach required
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- Dynamic, flexible and comfortable in adapting to quick changes
- Must be a highly organized, focused individual who excels in relationship selling, which is critical to the success of this position

- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
