Job Overview
We are recruiting a Civil Site Foreman to join our team in Alberta. This role will require planning and supervision of day-to-day construction activities for construction projects including managing materials and equipment requirements. .

Job Overview
We are recruiting a Civil Site Foreman to join our team in Alberta. This role will require planning and supervision of day-to-day construction activities for construction projects including managing materials and equipment requirements. .
Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor field staff to promote safe work practices, quality workmanship, productivity, and adherence to project schedules
- Promote and enforce compliance with SRG’s Safety Management System
- Provide daily work instructions and ensure adequate supervision within your designated work area
- Coordinate manpower assignments and ensure proper coverage across all shifts
- Assist in preparing equipment and material needs assessments; work with the Superintendent to requisition required resources
- Monitor project performance, progress, and productivity to ensure alignment with project plans and construction drawings
- Ensure that all tools and equipment in use have been properly inspected and are in good working condition
- Communicate regularly with the Superintendent regarding work progress, schedule updates, crew performance, and safety metrics
- Approve and submit timesheets and invoices related to project expenditures in a timely manner
- Can take direction and distribute it throughout the crew as needed
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in a relevant role
- Knows how to do time and daily reports
- Can understanding drawings and can relate to the crew
- Will consider heavy equipment experience as an asset
- Be able to adapt to our culture with safety and performance
- Good problem solving and decision-making skills
- Has experience in and knows how to deal with an incident if one should occur
