SALARY RANGE: $94,722 – $114,724

Reporting to the Director IT & EMR Integration, the Project Manager will support the planning, development and implementation of key projects within Georgian Bay Information Network (GBIN) including, but not limited to, projects within the eNautilus multi-year initiative. The Project Manager role will include the promotion of health system integration and information systems. The incumbent will be a critical resource to coordinate projects, using project management best practices, and building strong relationships with internal and external partners. All roles are essential in providing a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff, physicians, volunteers and others by ensuring that health and safety policies are followed.

Qualifications

Required

  • 3 year degree or diploma in a related discipline or related work experience
  • 2 years project management experience, preferably in an Information Technology setting
  • Formal Project Management education or PMP an asset
  • Systems thinker, with successful completion and support of highly complex projects and initiatives aligned with strategic directions
  • Outstanding interpersonal, influencing and communication skills to build strong relationships, gain credibility and network effectively with all levels of the organization and with external clients and partners
  • Demonstrated project management skills with extensive knowledge of project management principles and tools
  • Strong computer skills, including demonstrated experience with MS Office Suite, including MS Project
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical, organization and time management skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, communication and documentation skills
  • Advocate for change to an electronic environment
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of health service integration
  • Proven self-starter with sound judgment and decision making ability with evidence of innovative, critical and logical thinking
  • Diplomacy, tact and ability to negotiate deliverables and scope with user community and colleagues
  • Committed to Patient Safety and continuous quality improvement
  • Ability and willingness to continually upgrade skills, continues to learn for life
  • Act to resolve customer dissatisfaction in a timely fashion
  • Completion of or willingness to enroll in Leadership Essentials courses at Brightshores
  • Works to accomplish goals and objectives for the department
  • Ability to think critically and logically to evaluate situations
  • Ability to solve problems and make decisions within parameters of job description and standards
  • Ability to work outside normal hours as required to provide project supervision
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license and use of vehicle to support travel
  • Ability to travel internationally
  • Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
  • Recent satisfactory performance and attendance records
