is presently seeking a Maintenance Technician at our New Brunswick, Fredericton properties.
Reporting to the Manager of Building Operations, the successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day
operations and maintenance of building systems and mechanical equipment across a designated area of the
commercial portfolio in New Brunswick. They will be physically comfortable completing repairs and
maintenance work and will be required to undertake unit maintenance when tenants vacate.
As Maintenance Technician, you’ll get to:
- Respond to fire alarms, intrusion alarms, electrical failures, water leaks, property damage etc.
- Record mechanical, electrical and water readings and on occasion reset a building system when
- Touring common areas and keep areas free of individuals soliciting from customers and or tenants.
- General presentation and maintaining the development in a first-class manner, including ensuring
- Attending to tenant and guest inquiries any maintenance requests.
- Coordinating, reviewing and managing of parking, parking allocation, enforcement and revenue
- Involvement in coordinating and delivering guest services and amenities.
- Such other similar or related duties as may be required from time to time.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous customer service experience is considered an asset.
- Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail
- Effective organizational and time management skills with a focus on achieving deadlines
- Prior experience in the Maintenance Technician field is considered an asset
Physical Requirements:
- Lift 50lbs individually
- Lifting >50lbs with another person(s)
- Standing and walking for extended periods of time
- Repetitive bending
- Climbing / work from ladders
- Working overhead
- Crouching / kneeling for extended periods of time
