What You’ll Do:

As a Payroll Administrator, your day-to-day will involve:

  • Processing weekly and bi-weekly payroll for all salaried and hourly employees, as well as commission and bonus payments
  • Compile payroll data such as garnishments, vacation time, insurance, and other deductions
  • Processing CRA remittances, union dues, HAPSET, and RRSPs.
  • Managing payroll data and ensuring all employee files are up to date.
  • Administering T4 processing and reconciling general ledger accounts monthly.
  • Serving as the main point of contact for payroll and group benefits-related inquiries from employees, management, and third parties.

You’ll collaborate closely with the Payroll Team and report directly to the Payroll Manager, helping drive innovation and excellence while staying current with payroll regulations, standards, and work methods.


What We're Looking For:

We’re excited to meet candidates who have:

  • A post-secondary diploma (or degree) in a relevant field, with at least 3 years of payroll experience.
  • Proficiency in payroll systems and a solid understanding of employment standards and legislation.
  • Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and excellent customer service abilities.
  • A Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation from the Canadian Payroll Association (considered an asset).
  • A commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality.
