As an Administrative Assistant working with Pomerleau, you are a dynamic and detail-oriented individual providing comprehensive support to our Regional Lead, Project Directors and preconstruction/project team(s). This multifaceted role combines traditional administrative responsibilities with active involvement in preconstruction activities and bid management processes. Working with a portfolio of large-scale infrastructure projects, you will support teams from concept to completion with the maintenance of documentation, meeting schedules, and coordination of bid, project, and division resources. Success is in the details and the core of what you do. As Administrative Assistant, you are a catalyst for success by moving things forward, fast and smart. The expected salary range for this opportunity is $64,000 - $78,000. Please note that salaries may vary depending on the candidate’s experience and geographical location. Listed compensation is exclusive of bonus and in addition to our extensive employee benefits program which is listed above. Availability of certain benefits may vary based on the specific job role.

What You Will Do
- Manage and coordinate complex calendars for Regional Lead and key personnel;
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements;
- Assist directors and preconstruction/project team(s) with administrative support relating to project pursuits and delivery;
- Research and track new construction opportunities, monitor bid boards, industry publications, and client websites;
- Maintain prospect database/opportunity pipeline and assist in qualifying potential projects and clients;
- Coordinate bid submission processes from start to finish;
- Collaborate and keep the lines of communication open when working with team members, trade partners, consultants and clients;
- Take pride in using and maintaining our innovative internal technology systems;
- Assist with project documentation and record keeping;
- Ensure key information is updated and distributed accordingly;
- Prepare project invoices and ensure transmission to our Accounts Payable team;
- Embrace the learning experience and be open to internal career opportunities; and
- Celebrate project success and completion and be a key member of the project wrap-up process.
- 3+ years’ administrative experience;
- A Diploma in the field of Office Administration, or a combination of education and industry experience;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
- Strong organizational and time management skills;
- A proven track record of project administrative support and team leadership skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy in all work; and
- Knowledge of the construction industry and BC market.
