Housekeeping is the heart of our operation, ensuring guest rooms are clean, comfortable, and well stocked for every stay. We are looking for energetic, detail-oriented individuals to join our summer team as Housekeeping Supervisor.
As a supervisor, you will coach and support a hardworking, enthusiastic team that takes pride in delivering exceptional service while creating a welcoming environment for our guests.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly reporting to the Assistant Manager of Housekeeping and Building Operations, Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for:

Leading housekeeping teams to ensure cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and sleeping areas - Performing deep cleaning of rooms at the beginning and end of the summer season
- Changing bed linens, stocking rooms with towels, amenities, and toiletries
- Providing laundry services
- Removing garbage and items from rooms and maintaining a neat, tidy work area
- Monitoring for maintenance issues and promptly reporting them
- Using cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and steamers effectively (training provided)
- Managing inventory of cleaning supplies and ensuring task efficiency
- Adhering to all health and safety standards and maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
- Providing fair and constructive feedback to team members and fostering a collaborative work environment
- Participating in Human Resources training and following established procedures
- 3-5 years of supervisory experience (in the hospitality/housekeeping industry would be considered an asset)
- Ability to train new employees
- Ability to perform physical work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 25 lbs / 11.5 kgs
- Ability to work with and properly mix, use, label and store cleaning chemicals
- Participating in WHMIS training (provided)
- Positive attitude, energetic, courteous, and attention to detail
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, weekends,
- holidays, and some night shifts
- Bilingualism not required, but considered an asset
- First Aid/CPR Certificate not required, but considered an asset
