About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Data Analyst to join our dynamic Global Logistics team. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact by diving deep into our logistics operations to identify opportunities for enhancing customer/courier experience. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to provide data-driven insights that drive key decisions and improvements. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with strong analytical abilities, a passion for data visualization, and a desire to contribute to a global logistics organization.
Location: Remote - Calgary/ Hybrid- 3 days a week from our Winnipeg office & 2 days working from home

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:
- Gather and understand stakeholder requirements to ensure dashboards are relevant, actionable, and meet business needs.
- Extract, clean, transform, and load data from various data sources to support dashboard development and ad-hoc analysis.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of logistics data (e.g., order patterns, delivery performance, customer feedback) to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement in customer experience.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, interactive, and user-friendly dashboards (Tableau/Looker) to visualize key logistics performance indicators and trends for various stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, customer service, product) to understand business challenges and translate them into analytical questions.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Contribute to the development of data documentation and best practices for dashboard creation and data analysis.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve existing dashboards and analytical processes.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reporting and analysis.
- 2-4 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or e-commerce.
- Strong proficiency in Tableau/Looker for data visualization and dashboard creation.
- Solid SQL skills for data querying and manipulation, with a plus for experience in cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift).
- Proven ability to analyze complex datasets, extract insights, and apply data analysis principles and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, a curious mindset, and strong communication and presentation skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing time effectively and meeting deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
