Sales Development Representative:
On behalf of our technology client, Procom is searching for a Sales Development Representative for a permanent role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Vancouver office.
Sales Development Representative - Job Description:
This role is designed to support the growth of this client in North America by combining sales development responsibilities with product knowledge and light support functions. It is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to grow into a long-term sales role while actively contributing to both lead generation and customer success.
Sales Development Representative - Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound prospecting via email, phone, and LinkedIn.
- Qualify inbound leads and schedule discovery calls for senior team members.
- Maintain clean and up-to-date records in the CRM.
- Support follow-up sequences for webinars, campaigns, and events.
- Help with lead generation research and account targeting.
- Follow up with customers during onboarding to ensure smooth activation.
- Respond to basic customer support requests via email/phone.
- Identify when to escalate to Tier 2 support.
- Work closely with the Sales, Support, and Development teams.
- Provide feedback from customers to help improve processes.
- Assist in occasional event planning, marketing support, or customer check-ins.
- 1+ years of experience in customer-facing or sales-related roles.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Comfortable using CRM tools (HubSpot), Microsoft 365, and Slack.
- Basic understanding of SaaS sales cycles and pipeline stages.
- Familiarity with lead generation tools or platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
- Willingness to learn both technical product details and sales strategy.
- Organized, self-driven, and a team player.
- Experience with transportation-related systems.
- Experience with help desk tools (Zendesk).
- Problem-solving skills.
- Adaptability in a fast-growing environment.
- Experience in event planning or marketing support.
