We are seeking a passionate and dynamic individual to join our North American Procurement team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost analysis, optimization, and procurement negotiations, with a proven track record of achieving COGS improvements, while demonstrating collaborative cross-functional leadership. FMCG experience will be a key asset in this role, as you will collaborate with multiple stakeholders to drive quality, operations efficiency and cost savings.

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic individual to join our North American Procurement team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost analysis, optimization, and procurement negotiations, with a proven track record of achieving COGS improvements, while demonstrating collaborative cross-functional leadership. FMCG experience will be a key asset in this role, as you will collaborate with multiple stakeholders to drive quality, operations efficiency and cost savings.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish new contractual agreements with Contract Manufacturing Suppliers.
- Negotiate and execute manufacturing tolls pricing with Contract Manufacturing suppliers.
- Oversee supplier creation processes and manage finished products pricing.
- Identify and improve end to end costs including R&P losses, free cash flow, and raw & packaging.
- Analyze sourcing optimization to ensure the best landed COGS, CSL, and lead times to customers.
- Monitor market inflation on commodities and specialized ingredients to ensure the best sourcing costs.
- Collaborate with finance to establish forecasted prices based on market information and sourcing initiatives.
- Work closely with Direct Materials NORAM and Global procurement teams to apply negotiated rates and sourcing initiatives.
- Support and deploy new products innovations initiatives in collaboration with the Project Management Office (PMO) and technical teams.
- Support project teams on sourcing decisions and costing for product setups.
- Support cross C&P initiatives to mature Procurement processes in region.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7 to 10 years of experience in procurement, operations finance, and/or project management.
- Professional certification in purchasing, an asset.
- Experience in procurement category management, especially in contract manufacturing and/or direct materials.
- Strong business acumen and financial analysis capability.
- Experience in the food-processing industry, particularly perishable products, is an asset. FMCG experience is an asset.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, multi-cultural, matrix environment.
- Proven track record of successful negotiations and cost savings.
- Experience in people management, with the ability to lead and develop a team is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Proficiency in English is required. French proficiency is an asset.
- Travel required domestic and international (10-20%)
