Exan Software (Exan) has over 20 years of experience developing and supporting software in dental markets in Canada and throughout the world. As part of Henry Schein One, Exan’s products support the Canadian Dental Practice Management and Global Academic-Dental markets. Our on-premise products are well established with strong customer loyalty while our cloud product customer base is growing every year.

We are looking for an Account Executive – Strategic Alliances, for our on-premise product, who is able to drive results while still being a great collaborator. This person will be the founding member of our strategic alliances program, running point on revenue growth of both our vendor program and our channel.

You are a skilled communicator and presenter who can find the best fit between customer and product, you are organized, passionate about client relations, and are focused on enhancing the customer experience. You will have a track record of success working within sales teams, meeting, and exceeding quotas. You work collaboratively with stakeholders to understand and demonstrate how our product delivers value that fits client needs.

Experience handling complex sales, with long sales cycles (6+ months), and multiple stakeholders (3+) is an asset.

Most importantly, you are the type of person who enjoys solving problems and has a ‘roll-up-your-sleeves’ attitude to getting things done. This person will be the main point of contact for our vendor partners and channel partners and quarterback projects from sales, marketing, product, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with our existing vendor partners, helping them drive business amongst our customer base through sales and marketing activities.
  • Grow revenue with new vendor partners
  • Handle activities from: live demonstrations through virtual video meetings, negotiation, scheduling webinars, and attending events
  • Partner with the channel to support their business opportunities
  • Quarterback conversations between our team and the channel to keep them updated on new product initiatives, release dates, training, etc.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Consultants, Customer Success, Product, and services for the best possible customer outcome
  • Collaborate by engaging with key stakeholders to generate interest and obtain business
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience as an Account Executive, Account Manager, or Channel Partner Manager selling software
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales forecasts and tracking in Salesforce
  • Demonstrated track record of success and overachievement of quotas
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, autonomous, and collaborative sales environment

Requirements

  • Availability to travel to conferences or key accounts a necessity
  • This is a hybrid role, with one days in office, to facilitate brainstorming and team

building. Our office is located across from Guildford Mall, in Surrey, BC

Compensation:

The posted range for this position is between $80,000-$85,000 base salary. The OTE for this role is $160,000-170,000 (uncapped). Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, training, current skills, certifications & education etc.
