Description
The Head of Ring Offline Canada will be responsible for helping set the direction of Ring’s Canadian offline business operations and driving business growth across offline sales, marketing, operations, and public relations. This role will lead a small team of account managers focused on offline partner retailers while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization to develop and execute a growth strategy for Canada. Key job responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Help define and execute the strategic vision for Ring’s offline Canadian business, aligning with the company’s global objectives and opportunities. Foster strong relationships with senior buying teams to help drive sales and brand presence.
- Account Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of key account relationships, including joint business planning, forecasting, sales execution, merchandising, trade marketing, and new product introductions.
- Channel Marketing Support: Drive regional marketing initiatives, including retailer training, in-store displays, promotions, and monitor retailer satisfaction to enhance brand visibility.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build and lead a working group by partnering with cross-functional teams in offline sales, marketing, operations, and PR to capitalize on the largest growth opportunities in the Canada.
- Team Leadership: Directly manage a small team of account managers responsible for offline partner retailer relationships, ensuring effective account management and partner satisfaction.
- Matrix Management: Influence and collaborate with other team leaders to secure resources, align priorities, and drive execution of initiatives across multiple departments.
- Hands-On Execution: Take a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving, ensuring operational excellence and timely delivery of business objectives.
- Performance Accountability: Take full ownership of the Canadian offline business’s performance, including revenue targets, growth, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Insights: Act as the voice of the customer, relaying feedback to product teams to influence roadmap development. Identify trends, refine strategies, and position Ring as a leader in the Canadian home security market.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including retailers, partners, and senior leadership, to support business objectives.
- Brand Representation: Act as a key ambassador for Ring offline in Canada, representing the brand in PR activities and industry events to enhance market presence.

Basic Qualifications
- Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in business leadership and sales, preferably in the home security, technology, or consumer goods sectors.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in a matrix organization to achieve business goals.
- Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on building strategic partnerships and driving sales growth.
- Experience managing offline retail partnerships and account management teams, including forecasting, merchandising, and trade marketing
- Familiarity with the Canadian CE or Security segments and consumer behaviour is highly desirable.
- Skills:
- Exceptional leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to align diverse teams around a shared vision and leverage negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills to deliver results.
- Hands-on approach to problem-solving and execution, with a bias for action.
- Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to identify and prioritize market opportunities.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and thrive in ambiguous environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in managing budgets, forecasting, and performance metrics.
- Highly proficient in both spoken and written English, French proficiency is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred but not essential.
