Days, 8 hours shifts.

Rotation/Shifts

- For information purposes only - The Hospital reserves the right to change.
- Certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario;
- Post graduate operating room course completed; OR Three (3) months of experience in an acute care operating room within the last five (5) years;
- Current BCLS;
- Ability to work effectively as an active member of the interdisciplinary team;
- Exceptional interviewing and interpersonal skills;
- Desire and ability to participate in staff and patient/family teaching;
- A professional and respectful attitude to patients, colleagues and the public;
- Self directed and capable of critical decision making;
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing;
- Current experience in a busy ophthalmic Operating Room setting;
- Proficiency in English and French oral expression (advanced level and comprehension (advanced level).
