Civil Engineering Technology POSITION TYPE: Full-Time Position Available SALARY: $63,375 - $96,946 per annum*
Reporting to the Chair, Construction Management Degree Program and Architectural Technology, Red River College Polytechnic is looking for an Instructor for the Construction Management Degree Program. Responsibilities include classroom instruction, supervision and guidance of students, student evaluation, advising of students, maintenance of student records and other professional duties related to instruction. Examples of subject areas are planning and scheduling, cost control and construction law & documents. The incumbent is also required to participate in department and College committees and assist in student orientation and graduation activities REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Civil Engineering Technology POSITION TYPE: Full-Time Position Available SALARY: $63,375 - $96,946 per annum*
- The successful candidate with a Masters or PhD in a related field will receive an Educational Supplement of $2,850 or $5,700 per annum, respectively, pro-rated on an hourly basis.

The incumbent is also required to participate in department and College committees and assist in student orientation and graduation activities REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A degree in Civil Engineering specializing in or with significant experience in heavy construction or commercial construction; an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be considered
- Significant and relevant work experience in Canadian heavy construction or commercial construction, with specific experience in project management including planning and scheduling, cost control and construction law and documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to use conflict resolution techniques to facilitate positive outcomes
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to teach on campus and remotely
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently as well as in small to large group settings
- Experience working with diverse individuals, including newcomers, international, Indigenous, 2SLGBTQIA* and neurodiverse people
- Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement
- Experience developing curriculum and instructing at a post-secondary level
- Certificate in Teaching for Learning or Adult Education
- Experience developing and instructing distance-delivered courses including online
- Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS) to deliver blended (synchronous and asynchronous) instruction
- Certificate in Teaching for Learning or Adult Education
- Graduate degree(s) in Civil Engineering or Education; experience with applied research
- Professional Designations (such as P.Eng.); Active membership in local professional association
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
- This position may be required to work throughout the academic year including the summer months
- Instructors are required to complete the Teaching for Learning (TFL) in Applied Education program or have previously completed the Certificate in Adult Education (CAE)
- May be required to work at various RRC Polytech campuses
