As our newest apprentice in our REMAN division, you will have the opportunity to work with and support experienced Liebherr Remanufacturing Technicians to remanufacture & repair Liebherr components to OEM specifications in a production environment.
Responsibilities
- Support senior technicians with the inspection, maintenance, and repair of key heavy equipment components such as engines, drivetrains, hydraulic pumps, motors, and cylinders.
- Perform material handling tasks including moving parts, freight, and stock to and from storage or work areas using hand tools, forklifts, overhead cranes, or other equipment.
- Ensure completion of final checks and verifications as outlined in work instructions, scope of work, technical specifications, and verbal guidance.
- Prepare and submit accurate, timely technical documentation and reports, including quality control checklists and inspection forms.
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, equipment, and work areas in compliance with company standards and safety protocols.
- Prioritize safety by demonstrating proper use of tools, lifting devices, and safe material handling techniques as part of daily work practices.
Competencies
- You are currently completing your Heavy Equipment and/or Truck & Trailer Diploma at a registered Trade School.
- Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical components will be considered an asset.
- You are able to effectively communicate detailed and complex information in a clear and concise manner
- You are self-motivated with the ability to work alone, unsupervised for extended periods of time
- Ability to work with computers and Microsoft Office suite
