AML Operations Analyst:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an AML Operations Analyst for a 14-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.


AML Operations Analyst - Job Description:

This role is focused on supporting Anti-Money Laundering (AML) operations within a large and growing department. The analyst will conduct rapid reviews of alerts triggered by algorithms to identify potential risks in customer transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.


AML Operations Analyst - Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key resource by providing technical subject matter expertise on AML/ATF, Sanctions/ABAC matters.
  • Contribute to the identification and implementation of new products and operational efficiencies.
  • Ensure currency transaction reports and suspicious activity reports are filed in accordance with regulations.
  • Review information against various lists to ensure accuracy and flag unusual activity.
  • Develop and execute AML, Sanctions/ABAC reporting functions.
  • Prioritize and manage workload to meet service and productivity requirements.
  • Comply with internal and external audit and regulatory requirements.


AML Operations Analyst - Mandatory Skills:

  • 2 years of AML experience.
  • Previous corporate experience.
  • Self-driven and motivated to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Computer savvy with the ability to quickly learn internal systems.


AML Operations Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Previous banking experience, including international.
  • Professional education or certifications.
  • Business writing experience.


AML Operations Analyst – Assignment Length:

This is a 14-month contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion.

ASAP.


AML Operations Analyst - Assignment Location:

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office during training and 2 days in the office thereafter.
