We are seeking a BigID Functional Lead to spearhead the end-to-end implementation and optimization of BigID for data privacy initiatives under the Enbridge Data Privacy Phase 4 program. This role requires deep expertise in data discovery, classification, and regulatory compliance within enterprise IT environments. You will be responsible for aligning BigID's capabilities with privacy regulations, integrating it across enterprise systems, and ensuring operational excellence through monitoring, support, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of BigID, including architecture design, connector setup, and module configuration.
  • Perform comprehensive data discovery and classification across structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Integrate BigID with enterprise systems such as Active Directory, cloud storage, databases, and ticketing platforms.
  • Collaborate with privacy, legal, and IT stakeholders to ensure regulatory alignment (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to monitor privacy posture and system performance.
  • Provide internal documentation, stakeholder training, and ongoing technical support.
  • Troubleshoot ingestion, performance, and configuration issues; manage upgrades and new feature rollouts.

Technical Profile

  • BigID configuration and deployment across hybrid enterprise environments
  • Data discovery, classification, and privacy compliance frameworks (GDPR, CCPA)
  • Integration experience with cloud platforms, RDBMS/NoSQL databases, and IAM systems
  • REST API usage and scripting in Python and SQL
  • Proficiency in Java programming and microservices
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols (HTTP, SSL, TCP/IP, DNS)
  • Familiarity with Linux environments, bash scripting, and container technologies (Kubernetes)
  • SDK design and shared library familiarity
  • Experience with vendor risk assessment and third-party data processing via BigID

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $64.78/hour - $101.21/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
