Purpose of the Role::
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Vice President, Finance plays a pivotal leadership role in shaping and executing the firm’s financial strategy and managing the organization’s financial health. The Vice President, Finance oversees the firm’s corporate accounting, treasury, and equity management functions, ensuring alignment with the organization’s long-term goals and is a key contributor to enterprise-wide strategic planning, risk management, and corporate development initiatives.
Core Responsibilities:
This position comes with a base salary range of $210,000 - $240,000 plus a competitive performance bonus, RRSP contribution and participation in our profit-sharing program. Base salary will be commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications.

Purpose of the Role::

The Vice President, Finance oversees the firm’s corporate accounting, treasury, and equity management functions, ensuring alignment with the organization’s long-term goals and is a key contributor to enterprise-wide strategic planning, risk management, and corporate development initiatives.
Core Responsibilities:
- Actively contribute to the firm’s strategic direction by providing financial thought leadership and senior-level insight into enterprise-wide planning, key business initiatives, and decision making, including capital allocation.
- Lead the execution of strategic initiatives to improve operational effectiveness and support growth and scalability of the firm.
- In partnership with the CFO, accountability for the firm’s financial systems, risk management, and compliance with all relevant regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws.
- Oversee the day-to-day financial activities of the company including accounting, financial reporting, and treasury functions.
- Manage the firms’ various equity programs.
- Active involvement in acquisition due diligence, financial modeling, and negotiations.
- Oversee external service providers, tax, audit and other relationships pertinent to the financial aspects of the firm.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team that fosters a culture of curiosity, continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability.
- 10+ years of senior level experience in financial services with direct experience in wealth or asset management in a high growth, entrepreneurial environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, MBA an asset.
- CPA designation.
- Expertise in accounting standards and compliance.
- Corporate tax knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability in driving strategic financial initiatives.
- Experience working in a high performing, client-oriented capacity with a focus on client service both internally and externally.
