Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and process various types of requests, simple or complex, according to a defined learning path;
  • Understand and manage the application of different rules applicable to non-standard contractual provisions;
  • Ensure consistency and compliance of requests and documents received;
  • Communicate with plan administrators or insured individuals to obtain the necessary information for efficient request processing;
  • Provide administrative support to customer service agents and sales and service department advisors/representatives;
  • Suggest process improvements to better serve clients, reduce costs and delays, and increase productivity;
  • Participate, as needed, in special projects or other tasks to contribute to team objectives;
  • Participate in various team projects and other related tasks.

Position Evolution:

  • First Level: Analyze and process requests related to enrollments, division, class, and coverage changes, beneficiary management, terminations and extensions, salary changes, and certificate changes.
  • Second Level: The analyst must have developed critical thinking and in-depth analysis to handle more complex requests, without assistance except in exceptional cases, to analyze and code absences, manage claim-related coverages, manage access to the Client Space, and contribute to various related tasks as needed.
  • Third Level: The analyst can obtain an "Experienced" Analyst certification by mastering the tasks of the first two levels. At this stage, the analyst will share knowledge with less experienced analysts, participate in the "Peer Review" process, and contribute to tasks related to medical selection, insurance transformation, billing cycles, and certain specialized processes.

The development path within the Administration team is very accessible. An analyst who reaches the third level of development can aspire to a higher level in the pay scale, such as a Senior Analyst role. In this role, they can continue their development and contribute as an expert to support and guide analysts in their daily performance.

Desired Profile:

  • College diploma and 4 years of relevant experience;
  • Technical skills and proficiency in data entry (speed, attention to detail and quality);
  • Advanced French language skills, both written and spoken, for daily interactions in meetings, phone calls, and email exchanges with unilingual French-speaking colleagues and partners across Canada;
  • Advanced English language skills, both written and spoken, for daily interactions in meetings, phone calls, and email exchanges with unilingual English-speaking colleagues and partners across Canada;
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office applications (intermediate Excel);
  • Analytical skills and good judgment;
  • Autonomy, organization, and availability;
  • Knowledge of group insurance administration (an asset).
