We are seeking a skilled Control-M Administrator to manage and optimize our batch scheduling environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Control-M installation, configuration, and administration, ensuring seamless automation and scheduling of critical business processes.

We are seeking a skilled Control-M Administrator to manage and optimize our batch scheduling environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Control-M installation, configuration, and administration, ensuring seamless automation and scheduling of critical business processes.
Responsibilities
- Configure, upgrade, support and maintain the Control-M environment including ControlM Enterprise Manager, Servers, Agents, and Plug-ins.
- Ensure an appropriate level of reliability of the platform and the scheduled jobs being executed.
- Manage and support job schedule tasks and batch workflows, including quality technical customer service to our Control-M users.
- Monitor and troubleshoot batch scheduling issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Implement security controls and maintain the Information Assurance (IA) posture of the Control-M infrastructure.
- Analyze user requirements and optimize job flows and scheduling systems.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to staff on Control-M administration best practices.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Control-M with other enterprise applications.
- Strictly maintain team standards and documentation to ensure continuity of operations.
- Assist with the resolution of escalated issues and actively participating in problem management activities.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Control-M installation, configuration, and administration.
- Strong expertise in batch development, operations and scheduling.
- Experience with IBM z/OS, Unix/Linux Server Operating Systems.
- Experience on Control-X (D,M,R,V), CA Workload Automation etc.
- Knowledge of Control-M security components and database structures.
- Familiarity with JES3, TSO, JCL, CICS, DB2, and RMM.
- Experience with Perl, VBS, and Java scripting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office products.
- Banking sector experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems like ServiceNow and JIRA.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- BMC Certified Professional – Control-M for Administrator
- BMC Control-M Workload Automation Certification
- ITIL foundation certified
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
