We’re looking for a Solutions Consultant with experience in Proposal Management and RFP Response. This is a great opportunity to leverage your experience in SaaS sales and knowledge of the RFP space to shape the Response Management market and to kick off your career in Pre-Sales.
Our Solution Consulting team plays a key role in the success of Loopio and contributes to the Sales team’s ambitious plans. The Solution Consultant will partner with SMB and Mid-Market Account Executives to showcase Loopio’s value to potential customers early in the sales process. You will directly impact company revenue by managing compelling solution-based value propositions to address our prospect’s critical needs.
You will also participate closely with our teams in discovery with prospects to understand existing workflows and business processes centred around the Response market. You will also conduct customized product demos, manage technical validation activities (including proof-of-concept exercises and pilots), and assist pre-sales leadership in developing resources for the Loopio Go-To-Market function. You are curious, an active listener, and actively seek to understand prospects' needs.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Partner with the sales team to effectively communicate Loopio’s value proposition to potential customers early in the sales process.
- Engage with prospects to thoroughly understand their existing workflows and business processes related to Proposal Management and RFP Response.
- Showcase Loopio's capabilities through tailored product demonstrations
- Oversee proof-of-concept exercises and pilot programs to validate the technical fit of Loopio’s solutions for prospective customers.
- Design and present customized value propositions that address the critical needs of prospects, aligning Loopio’s offerings with their specific challenges.
- Build strong relationships with prospects by being a knowledgeable and trusted advisor, guiding them through the evaluation and decision-making process.
- Keep abreast of trends and developments in the Proposal Management and RFP Response markets to better understand and anticipate customer needs.
- Provide training and support to the sales team, equipping them with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively sell Loopio’s solutions.
- Collect and relay feedback from prospects and customers to the product development team, contributing to the continuous improvement of Loopio’s offerings.
- You’ll have contributed to the completion of a high volume of RFPs at a current or past employer. Prior experience using Loopio or other RFP response software is an asset.
- You have 3+ years of solid experience in a client-facing role. Some experience in a B2B technical sales or sales support role is an asset.
- Ability to quickly produce high-quality deliverables and presentations
- You are curious and constantly look for ways to hone your craft in the technical presales domain. Developing processes that work and scale are exciting areas for you to continually build your expertise in
- Desire to practice and prepare your presentations (or demos) meticulously, as you always strive for excellence
- A genuine passion for making other people successful, both our customers and your fellow teammates
- Deliver presentations in a way that establishes credibility and reinforces the value of the Loopio product
- Learn new technology quickly and find it easy to explain technical solutions in terms of business value

- We are currently only looking for candidates who reside in the Greater Toronto Area and can access our co-working space in Downtown Toronto for the occasional Sales Team get-together.
- Loopio is a remote-first workplace because we recognize the advantages of working flexibly. We are HQ’d in Canada, with established hub regions around the world where we hire from.
- Our employees (or Loopers, as we call ourselves!) live and work in Canada (British Columbia and Ontario), London, and India (specifically in Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Bengaluru).
- The majority of our team is based in ON and BC, which means these employees live and work remotely within a 300km radius of Toronto (within Ontario) and Vancouver (Within BC).
- We offer flexible co-working locations available to Loopers in ON and BC. Those based in ON have the option of working out of our convenient co-working space located in the heart of Downtown Toronto and a 12-minute walk from Union Station. BC Loopers have the option to work centrally in Vancouver. It is whatever works best for you!
- You’ll collaborate with your teams virtually across the UK, India, and North America (we’re just a Zoom call and Slack message away!) with core sync hours and focus time for headsdown work during the workday
