Project Description:

Our Manitoba-based client requires a Scrum Master to act as a facilitator, coach, and servant leader for Agile development teams. The Scrum Master will ensure adherence to Scrum principles, facilitate Agile ceremonies, collaborate with the Product Owner, and proactively remove impediments to the team’s progress.


Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Agile Processes including all Scrum ceremonies
  • Empower the development team to self-organize and promote open communication
  • Identify and remove obstacles impeding progress
  • Provide Agile coaching and mentorship
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner and stakeholders
  • Monitor team performance metrics and report progress
  • Resolve conflicts constructively
  • Promote continuous improvement and best practices
  • Support project/program managers with planning and tracking activities


Mandatory Requirements (Pass/Fail):

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field; Agile certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP).
  • 10 years proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, frameworks, and practices.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
  • Knowledge of software development processes, tools, and best practices. Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on delivering results.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and requirements.
