Manager, Branded Content
Who We're Looking For
Rogers Sports and Media is looking for a Manager, Branded Content to work in collaboration with campaign strategists, sales and cross-functional teams while reporting into the Sr. Manager, Branded Content.
This person will be responsible for developing strategy and overseeing a brand vertical in the RSM suite of channels, including Citytv, HGTV, Food Network, Magnolia, ID, Discovery, OMNI, Breakfast Television and In-House productions. The Manager, Branded Content will have an intimate knowledge of the entire programming slate and be leaned on to identify key clients and develop strategies for expanding and increasing sales revenue across their prescribed vertical.
To succeed in the role, the Manager, Branded Content should have experience in on-set production and television programming and should possess a deep understanding of pre, principle and postproduction practices. The successful candidate should be creative, well-organized and solution oriented.

What You'll Do
- Develop strategies for each assigned programming vertical (i.e. Citytv, HGTV, Food Network, Discovery, Breakfast Television, etc.)
- Work directly with production teams and Sales reps to increase revenue, while maintaining high production quality
- Craft and execute large scale interstitial and influence campaigns
- Present proactive opportunities to internal teams, agency partners and client-direct
- Build, engage and manage relationships with cross function teams including sales and production
- 5+ years of broadcast and digital video production and expertise
- 3+ years of experience working in a fast-paced client-facing role
- World class understanding of branded content and social engagement strategies
- Audience development expertise
- Ability to apply data to both strategic direction and performance benchmarking
- Ability to influence key stakeholders on decision making
- Proven ability to navigate difficult conversations and find mutually beneficial solutions
