Meaningful work you’ll be part of
As a Senior Associate you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Synthesize complex data into meaningful insights and understand analytical frameworks to use them effectively with qualitative and/or quantitative evidence.
- Support delivery from project scoping to conclusion, while consistently keeping the client’s goals and objectives in mind.
- Communicate complex information effectively in written and verbal formats to various situations and audiences.
- Approach new projects with an open mind .
- Demonstrate empathy for coworkers and our clients .
- Know how and when to use tools available for a given situation and can explain the reasons for this choice.
- Seek and embrace opportunities which give exposure to different situations, environments and perspectives.
- Read situations and modify behaviour to build quality relationships.
- Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.
- Good knowledge of Financial Services domain with a focus on Payments, Banking Operations, and/or Retail and Commercial Lending
- An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
- 2-4 years' experience in one or more areas in financial services with a focus on Retail and Commercial Banking, business operations, technology implementations and ideally a blend of consulting and domain knowledge
- Experience in complex transformational and/or modernization programs built around technology solutions for financial services.
- Experience developing target operating models, process design, technology enablement strategies and roadmaps, including comfort with various frameworks and methodologies
- Familiarity with the Canadian payments landscape and upcoming changes as part of the Payments Modernization roadmap.
- Foundational understanding of transaction life cycles of payment products and solutions (e.g., cards, wires, etc.), financial operations, including settlement, reconciliation, and exception processing, and administration of financial services businesses
- Ability to multitask and manage ambiguity as you navigate change at the client site
- Willingness to learn, adopt and lead new ways of doing things (personas, journey mapping, gamification, etc.)
- Ability to build trusted advisor relationships with key FS clients with a focus on business relationships from front office to operations including technology functions
