We have an exciting opportunity for a Hybrid Senior Financial Planning Analyst. You will play a pivotal role in supporting our operational and project management teams. You'll be responsible for creating and maintaining long-range financial and capital planning models, supporting regulatory filings, and preparing key variance and budget reports. Your work will directly influence data-driven decisions and strategic initiatives.
Salary: $115,000- $125,000 - with potential flexibility to reflect the expertise and experience of our ideal candidate.

Qualifications
What You Will Do
Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial planning and valuation models for budgeting, forecasting, regulatory support, and strategic decision-making.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare and present annual multi-year budgets, monthly long-term forecasts, and valuation reports for revenues, expenses, and capital projects.
Capital Cost Reporting: Use system-driven reports to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of capital costs.
Regulatory Support: Organize and respond to data and discovery requests, prepare regulatory filings, and support rate cases through research and financial analysis.
Data Analysis & Alignment: Collaborate with team members across business units to ensure alignment of internal, external, and regulatory budgets and forecasts, and explain variances in reports.
Lead process improvements to standardize data, reports, and internal controls.
Coordinate monthly variance reporting and consolidate financial results for select business units.
Maintain utility operating, rate, and valuation models to identify gaps in allowed vs. achieved returns.
Prepare and analyze reports for year-end audits, tax purposes, and regulatory compliance.
Mentor FP&A Analysts, providing training, feedback, and support on prepared documents.

What You Will Bring
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Completion of a recognized professional program (e.g., CPA, CFA, CA, CGA, CMA, MBA, or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of related experience
- Exceptional analytical and organizational abilities.
- Skilled at leading and influencing teams without direct managerial authority.
- Expertise in financial modeling, variance analysis, and data analysis tools.
- Proactive, self-driven, and highly motivated to excel in fast-paced environments.
- Strong leadership qualities and excellent interpersonal skills.
