We are currently looking for an After Sales Program and Digital Manager at our Corporate Offices in Ajax, ON.
After Sales business results are critical to our overall business success. The After Sales Operations and Digital Manager organizes information and resources to support identification of business operations and the development and execution of key strategies aimed at achieving After Sales key loyalty targets, revenue and profit goals.
Additionally, this role helps ensure coordination and common understanding across the After Sales team and supporting business units. In doing so, this role is responsible for the exploration of new products and sales approaches to channels and categories to broaden the market reach. As well as managing all After Sales IT and Digital projects to help grow the retail business.
Playing a key role in planning and strategy development, this role helps the After Sales team to achieve targets through various sales channels using system tools and business intelligence. This role will ensure a holistic, consistent and integrated plan to sustain ongoing growth to achieve benchmark revenue and profit performance.
This is a hybrid flex position
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage applicable service and retention bonus programs to steer performance.
- After Sales Incentives, Programs and Communications.
- Parts & Accessories Revenues (parts includes performance from both Own Workshop and Wholesale) leading to After Sales profitability.
- Analyze parts data to determine areas requiring attention, develop action plans to correct deficiencies and to maximize opportunities.
- Reporting and analysis of business trends at national and local levels in support of identifying and executing upon opportunities to grow or improve quality of business outcomes.
- Ensure adequate parts and accessories availability, with a special emphasis for new products & accessories coordinating with Product Launch team and Accessory Specialist.
- Manage Pre-Paid Maintenance program in collaboration with VW Financial Services.
- Manage execution of projects for key After Sales Initiatives, aligning & prioritizing with VW AG and Volkswagen Group After Sales where required.
- Business lead for all After Sales IT and digital projects.
- Responsible for After Sales IQ (Business Intelligence)
- Long term and monthly budget planning support as well as performance forecasting.
- After Sales activities planning and alignment with VW After Sales Action Team.
- Develop, maintain and refine loyalty performance measures methodology aligned with Active Car Park and vehicle segment penetration requirements.
- Develop & execute Service Lead management processes and performance measures which evolve together with advancements in vehicle technologies which will grow the volume and type of leads generated.
- Support After Sales marketing performance and dealer engagement.
- Support service capacity planning aligned with business development strategies. supporting short- and long-term requirements, including both physical and human capacities.
- Support and collaborate on dealer objective setting, dealer performance reporting, after sales performance bonus design & steering in collaboration with the National Manager, After Sales field.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business management (project or inventory management) or a similar field.
- 5+ years of experience in automotive After Sales, ideally with specific experience in parts operations.
- Field experience within the automotive industry preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of the automotive industry parts and service operations.
- Experience with budget management.
- Results oriented with an analytical mindset: using logic and reason with demonstrated diligence to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Creative and strategic - conceptual way of thinking.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication.
- German and/or French language skills are preferred but not required.
