The M-D Canada Marketing Team is looking for an experienced Graphic Designer who combines exceptional design skills with a passion for designing both B2B and B2C assets, including consumer packaging within the building supply and hardware industry. We’re seeking a detail-oriented, conceptual thinker with strong time management skills who takes pride in delivering high-quality, impactful work. If you excel at collaborating with others, thrive on constructive feedback, and are comfortable refining your designs, this opportunity is for you.


Responsibilities:

  • Design assets include packaging designs, website banners, event signage, POP kits, brochures (print and digital), landing pages, email templates, and signage.
  • Created and supported visually engaging social media content and advertisements for platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Oversee quality control during the production of print files, collaborating with external vendors and agencies to ensure exceptional output and accountability for unmet standards.
  • Translate concepts into creative designs that communicate project visions effectively.
  • Uphold corporate brand guidelines while creatively utilizing brand elements.
  • Design original assets, such as illustrations and infographics, with opportunities to showcase creativity.
  • Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality and consistency.
  • Make strategic design choices that align with business objectives and independently develop creative solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on projects and campaigns by contributing design concepts and creating mock-ups.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Graphic Design (certificate, diploma, or degree).
  • 1-2 years of professional graphic design experience in an agency, brand, or related industry.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Express, and Acrobat), PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office (Word).
  • Familiarity with working on a PC platform.
  • Resourceful and committed to staying updated on current design trends and tools.
  • Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively, influence stakeholders without direct authority, and resolve issues efficiently.
  • A practical approach to prioritizing urgent tasks and meeting deadlines.
