We are seeking a Site Access and Training Supervisor to join our Cambridge, ON team.
The Site Access and Training Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring that project personnel are fully prepared and authorized for work at nuclear facilities. This includes overseeing site access, regulatory compliance, and training alignment. The role blends supervisory responsibilities (30–40%) with hands-on execution (60–70%) to drive operational readiness across security, onboarding, and training functions. This individual is a key contributor to safe and efficient project execution, serving as a liaison between internal teams, external customers, and regulatory bodies.

This role requires the successful candidate to complete the security clearance process. The security clearance process is conducted in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) and the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) and may take up to 12 months to complete.

The base salary range for this position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $64,000 and $90,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment.

- Lead team meetings, track progress, and resolve operational issues.
- Oversee time reporting and ensure task accountability.
- Guide individual performance and professional development.
- Promote continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Identify and implement tools or systems that enhance workflow and efficiency.
- Align team resources to meet project and compliance deadlines.
Access and Security Oversight:
- Manage personnel clearance processes and liaise with national and international security agencies.
- Coordinate health and radiation protection requirements in line with site-specific regulations.
- Maintain oversight of secure documentation and tracking systems for compliance.
- Coordinate all aspects of employee onboarding for site deployment including documentation, access tools, and orientation.
- Act as a primary contact for site access issues and pre-deployment readiness.
- Monitor and maintain employee training statuses and certifications.
- Align training matrices with site-specific and customer standards.
- Facilitate relationships with customers to arrange and validate training delivery.
Minimum Requirements:
- Eligible for CSIS security clearance.
- Strong understanding of Ontario privacy legislation.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 tools.
- Diploma or degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Valid security clearances for Bruce Power and Ontario Power Generation sites.
- Experience with tools such as:
- TIMS (Training System)
- DMS (Dose Management System)
- Nuclear Onboarding Systems (Bruce Power/OPG)
- MS Teams and SharePoint
