Position Title: Strategy Specialist
Location: Laval Corporate Office (Hybrid: Tuesday–Thursday on-site)
Reports To: Vice President & General Manager, Canada
Position Summary
The Strategy Specialist supports the development, execution, and monitoring of strategic initiatives across Canadian operations. This role involves cross-functional collaboration, data-driven analysis, and project coordination to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution
Assist in formulating and implementing strategic plans in collaboration with senior leadership.
Conduct market, operational, and financial analyses to support decision-making.
Track progress on strategic initiatives and prepare performance dashboards.
Project Management
Lead or support cross-functional projects from planning through execution.
Define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables; monitor progress and manage risks.
Ensure alignment of project outcomes with strategic goals.
Data & Reporting
Provide data support for benchmarking, performance evaluation, and revenue generation initiatives.
Collaborate with the BI team to integrate Tableau and other analytics tools.
Prepare reports and presentations for executive briefings and board-level discussions.
Operational Support
Participate in financial discussions and assist in organizing financial reporting cycles.
Contribute to legal documentation and compliance tracking as needed.
Liaise with external partners and subcontractors on strategic deliverables.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Strategy, Economics, or a related field;
Proven experience in project management, including use of project tracking tools.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau) is an asset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Bilingual (French/English) preferred.
