Are you an energetic individual who loves multi-tasking and keeping everything and everyone highly organized!? If so, you may be a great fit to be the Recruitment Assistant on our recruitment team. We are seeking a high-detailed, customer service focused individual, who can work in a very fast paced environment, to support our team in all administrative aspects of the recruitment lifecycle at NAIT.
Key Responsibilities:
Posting competitions in Startdate (ATS) and on external websites
Scheduling candidate interviews and sending calendar invites to candidates and interview panel members
Coordinating reference checks on short-listed candidates
Monitoring and triaging general recruitment and HR e-mail and voicemail accounts
Answering general recruitment inquiries from applicants, candidates and hiring managers
Closing competition files
Sending regret e-mails to unsuccessful candidates
Supplying hiring managers with lists of qualified candidates
Sending out any interview assessments/tests required for interviews
Providing support as main contact and SME for Startdate
Track the collection and storage of relevant competition records for providing recruitment statistics
Ensuring proper filing of all documents (in Sharepoint and Laserfiche)
Working collaboratively with the team to implement measures identified in our Recruitment Enhancement Project
Other responsibilities and project work as required
Skills & Abilities:
Must be a self-starter with highly demonstrated initiative
This individual must be extremely organized and enjoy working in a very fast paced environment
The successful candidate will have an extreme focus on providing excellent customer service
Although the recruitment assistant works very collaboratively with other HR team members, they must also be able to work independently, display good initiative, and have excellent time management skills
Must be administratively savvy and adept with organization
Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential to success in this role
Qualifications:
Related post-secondary certificate or diploma
Minimum of 2 years’ administrative experience
Proficiency with Microsoft 365
Demonstrated experience in the use of StartDate (ATS) and Peoplesoft
Experience with LinkedIn would be an asset
Preference may be given to candidates with knowledge of NAIT programs, policies, and procedures
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Applicants with education credentials earned outside of Canada should have their credentials evaluated by World Education Services or the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS).
Remuneration: $52,829.40 - $69,987.06 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
